These are screenshots taken from the Perimeter, Dire Marsh, Outpost and Cryo Archive zones from Marathon, developed by Bungie. I was part of the world art team that built out these zones, working from blockouts or early iterations provided by Bungie leads. This work was primarily completed using Bungie’s proprietary level editor, though occasionally custom 3D content would need to be created in Maya. Lighting, VFX and the majority of the 3D asset and texture generation were separate efforts completed by different team members.
Multiple world artists typically will collaborate within a given region as well as move around between regions, but the specific regions where I contributed most significantly are Station and South Relay (Perimeter), Quarantine (Dire Marsh), Processing (Outpost) and Cryo Hub, Biostock and Preservation (Cryo Archive).
